Welcome to the Fish Bones Custom Lures LLC site. Let me start off by saying thanks for visiting our website. My family and I have been in the fishing or bait & tackle business since 1936. My grandfather Clifford Peterson started the family run business known as Peterson Boat Livery in Houghton Lake Michigan where he made his living for his family until his passing in the fall of 1971, while on a fishing trip to Michigan Upper Peninsula. That’s when my mother and father took over the business and we ran it until 1977. We sold live bait & tackle and also rented out some of the best flat bottom hand made wooden boats. Then after years of work in the shop my dad decided to close the business and retire and now with that, I am starting up a new custom lure business, and one day hope to re-open the old shop right on Houghton Lake where it all began. Many of my friends and fans that know me have seen the work I have done for a company over the last few years and encourage to get out on my own and put the time and effort into something. That I will get something back for all the hard work that is put into making a custom product. That your proud to put your name on. |
